Mae: Somehow I managed to fall in love with Venice despite the prevalence of diseased birds and overuse of tomatoes :P I was drinking rose, which was worse than red because I could drink it so much faster :p I’ve been attacked by ducks! It’s the stuff of nightmares

I love my moleskines even though I use it on and off.

I can’t believe you despise fresh tomatoes! You must have suffered in Venice – birds AND tomatoes. And the bird thing is completely understandable but my hatred stems from being constantly terrorised by them. I’ve even been chased by ducks.

Completely agree with buying books immediately and the wine thing, more so with red wine. Luckily, I can’t stand red wine.
